• 1Arrive in Kathmandu via respective airlines and transfer to hotel.On arrival at Kathmandu international airport, you will be well received by Reasonable Treks & Tour staff and guide and then transfer you to your hotels within the hub of Kathmandu city around the most happening and exciting place around Thamel. The evening after checking into your rooms with refreshment our guides will brief regarding Tour of Kathmandu Heritage Sites with welcome dinner in a nice authentic Nepalese restaurant with culture show.
• 2 Kathmandu sightseeing tour at places of interest duration 4-5 hrs.The morning after breakfast leave for our exciting cultural and historical tour around Nepal’s best World Heritage Sites which includes old Durbar Square (Palace Courtyard), Old Swayambhunath Stupa and other places of interest. Morning starting our tour after breakfast with short drive and walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square (old Palace Courtyard), full of religious monuments with resident of famous Kumari Ghar (Living Goddess), visit Kal Bhairab, Red monkey god, ancient buildings of Malla rulers with magnificent architectures and intricate carvings from 7th to 16th Century. after an interesting time around old Durbar Square a short drive west of the valley to reach Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple): The great Stupa of Swayambhunath stands high on a hill of more than 26 centuries old, one of the world’s oldest Buddhist Chaitya / Stupa and also a landmark of Kathmandu and Nepal. The Great Stupa of Swayambhunath is the wonder and the glory that was Nepal. The afternoon with time for the lunch break, then a short drive towards the east of the city to reach Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath, a pagoda-style temple with gilded roofs richly carved silver doors dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the bank of holy Bagmati River. One of the holiest temples in the entire Hindu world, Pashupatinath Temple is the nerve center of pilgrimage on the day of Shiva-Ratri anniversary of Lord Shiva. This small religious town also houses a great temple known as Debpatan, situated 5 kilometers east of the capital city. Only Hindus are permitted to enter the main courtyard of the temple. Foreign tourists can view the temple from the eastern side of the River. From Pashupatinath Temple heading towards Bouddhanath Stupa a Little Tibet: Stands as the largest Buddhist shrine within South East Asia, this ancient colossal chhorten / Stupa built in 6th Century A.D. by King Man Deb. It rests on a series of three terraces looking from bird’s eye view it takes the form and relevant shape of a lotus flower, which indeed remains a very holy object for all the devout world-wide Buddhists.
• 3Drive to Nagarkot with tour of Patan and Bhaktapur -05 hrs.After enjoyable time within Kathmandu heritage sites, our next tour leads with short drive to reach the southern end of Kathmandu at Patan / Lalitpur district, once the separate Malla Kingdom where tour leads you in the heart of Patan which is known as Lalitpur, means city of arts and crafts, here marvel its craftsmanship, this city located just a mere distance towards south of Kathmandu city separated by holy Baghmati Rivers, here you can witness old Malla period fine architectures. Includes interesting Durbar Square teemed with local life visit the Krishna Temple built with stones a fine work of art with magnificent Garuda the vehicle of Lord Vishnu and Krishna, tour of its ancient courtyard, Buddhist and Hindu Temples. Bhaktapur a medieval style city, about 45 minutes drive from Patan, here visit Malla period city stands as it was since the past hundred of centuries retaining its old culture and traditional way of life, Bhaktapur means ‘city of devotees’ here visit its beautiful and interesting square with golden gates, palace of 55 windows, royal bathe, famous historical Nytapola Temple a masterpiece and landmark of the city, then tour of pottery square with other interesting sites. Bhaktapur is famous for its old peacock windows and other craftsmanship and arts which you can marvel during the tour within its durbar square teemed with local traditional life. after a wonderful time at Bhaktapur an hour drive to reach at Nagarkot a Mountain Resort famous for stunning sunrise and sunset over the array of Himalayan peaks with Mt. Everest range towards Far East horizon.
• 4Morning sunrise views and drive to Chitwan National Park - 05 hrs.Catching the morning sunrise views over snow-capped peaks in the comfort of the nice and luxury hotel and resorts, an exciting overland drive takes you mid south flat land the Terai belt at Chitwan National park, famous for rare and endangered wildlife and exotic bird-life. after 5-6 hours of scenic drive reaching the rim of Park entrance where most of the hotels located, here our naturalist and jungle guide will brief with information of Jungle activities and programs. After getting refreshed start your activity with the short walk on the banks of Rapti River as introductory walks. Evening enjoys the dinner with fascinating Tharu (indigenous tribe of southern Terai and Chitwan) cultural dance.
• 5Full day Jungle Activities at Chitwan National Park.Program and activities begin early before breakfast, walk to elephant platform for the ride on elephant backs leading you into the dense jungle to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. Other activities include the visit of elephant stables and elephant bathing and briefing. After lunch drives into the jungles as well ride on a dug-out canoe floating on Rapti River where you can see freshwater Gangetic Gharial and Mugger crocodiles, if lucky including freshwater dolphins, and otters.
• 6Drive to Lumbini and transfer to hotel with tour of Buddha's birth place.After Chitwan with exciting safari, morning drive to Lumbini taking a few hours to reach Buddha’s birthplace in the comfort of nice hotels/resorts. at Lumbini tour of Buddha’s birthplace and interesting sites a special place in the world of Buddhism. Where Emperor Asoka of Magadha Kingdom of India made the pilgrimage in 3rd Century BC and built world famous pillar with an inscription stating” Here Lord Buddha was born”. Chinese pilgrims Tsen Tsai (4th Century A.D.), Fa-hsien (5th Century A.D.) and Hiuen-Tsang (7th Century A.D.) accounted their travel to Lumbini mentioning that they witness the holy tree, the pond, stupas, and shrines. Hiuen Tsang described the Asoka Pillar with a horse capital on the top of it. Temple of Maya Devi, mother of Lord Buddha has been recently renovated under the vigilance of UNESCO. Several foreign monasteries and stupas have been constructed in Lumbini area. after an interesting tour head back to your hotels and with time for the local walk around rural villages of great interest.
• 7Drive to Tansen / Palpa with overnight in hotels - 05 hrs.With interesting time in Lumbini within historical and religious sites, morning a long and interesting drive to leads south-west of Nepal to the mid hills town of Palpa, balanced on the lap of beautiful Srinagar Danda (hill), Tansen takes pride with gorgeous views of mountain panorama and as well plains of Terai. Tansen, among few towns outside the capital, bears a rich legacy of traditional art and architecture. On reaching Palpa overnight in local style hotels of nice comfort and visit the street of Palpa Tansen with time in the late afternoon.
• 8Drive to Pokhara and transfer to hotel - 06 hrs journey.Morning visit historical sites Tansen Durbar, built in 1927 AD by Pratap Shamsher Jung Bahadur Rana, is a grand imposing palace in the heart of the town, once the seat of the Rana governors, the Durbar is now the district secretariat of Palpa district. Shitalpati (the Round House) is another attraction of Tansen. Built by Khadga Shamsher, the original Shitalpati is of octagonal shape. The ‘Biaggi Dhoka’, the biggest gate of its kind in Nepal is located in this square. The locals often compare it with the architecture of the Mughal Empire in India. the afternoon with lunch at Palpa then drive to Pokhara after an interesting tour head back to your hotels and with time for the local walk around rural villages of great interest., morning a long and interesting drive to reach the famous and popular touristic spot at Pokhara. On reaching at Pokhara with amazing views of Annapurna Himalaya with majestic Machhapuchare Himal ‘Fish Tail’ that reflects on its serene Phewa and Begnas Lakes. In Pokhara hotels located in a peaceful location by the Phewa Lake with views of mountains and beautiful scenery.
• 9Pokhara with local sightseeing and boating on Phewa Lake. Morning boating on Phewa Lake visits Bharai Temple dedicated to Hindu Goddess located in the middle of the lake on a small island, from here a boat ride to the shore for an hour hike to Buddhist Peace Stupa. from here grand views of Pokhara valley and the lake with impressive views of Annapurna Himalaya with Manaslu and Dhaulagiri with Machhapuchare Himal, and then walk downhill to the boat and paddle to the shore for lunch. afternoon tour of Devi’s waterfall with Gupteshwor Mahadev cave with lunch on route sightseeing places with a tour of International Mountain Museum recently added in Pokhara is the Mountain Museum the first of its kind in Nepal, established and built by Mountaineering Association (NMA).
• 10Morning drive to Sarankot for sunrise and paragliding.Early morning start with short drive to Sarankot a scenic hilltop famous for stunning sunrise view over array of snow-capped mountains from world’s 7th highest Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m, 10th highest Mt. Annapurna 8,091 m and 8th highest Mt. Manaslu 8,163 m including range of smaller peaks with ever-present majestic Mt. Machhapuchare “Fish Tail” standing high at 6,993 meters. Sarankot hilltop the tallest spot around Pokhara valley at 1, 460 meters with super views of mountains, Pokhara green valley and its city with Phewa Lake below, beside the fabulous panorama famous for paragliding which is one of the most popular adventure sports. options of Paragliding for 30 to 45 minutes landing on the shores of Phewa Lake and then walk or drive back to your hotel rest of the afternoon free to marvel the beauty of Pokhara.
• 11Drive to Bandipur and transfer to local home-stay huts / cottage.Our journey leads to beautiful Bandipur taking an exciting and interesting overland drive with view of snow-capped mountains during the journey driving past low warm areas into towns and villages, and then on leaving the Trisuli River, our route leads west to Tanau district at Dumre where a short uphill drive brings you at cultural and scenic Bandipur for few days. Here transfer to nice and typical Nepalese huts or a cottage facing natural scenery of rolling green hills and lakes in the shade of Annapurna and Manaslu Himalaya with majestic Machhapuchare "Fish Tail".
• 12In Bandipur with tour of the village and its small town with cultural activitiesBandipur certainly a tourist natural paradise facing Marshyangdi river which cascades and takes a sharp turn eastward on its way to join the Trisuli river at Mugling Located in central areas of mixed canopy of pine and Sal forest and lush terraced fields offers sweeping views of Himalayan range from Manaslu-Annapurna and Lamjung Himal in the west, this is an old Newari town and village with other mixed tribes Gurung-Magar and some Hindu Brahmins and Chettris where you mix in and witness its interesting culture and old traditional way of life as it was for hundreds of centuries.
• 13Drive back to Kathmandu - 06 hrs.After a fabulous and fantastic time in and around Nepal interesting places, our tour ends with a drive back to Kathmandu an interesting overland journey of six hours on the main highway of Nepal, on reaching at Kathmandu transfer to your hotel with a free afternoon to relax or with last hour shopping souvenirs.
• 14Drive Chandragiri within the rim of Kathmandu.Morning another scenic tour on Nepal’s newest Fun Park around Kathmandu valley rim with the scenic views of Chandragiri Hill at 2,551 meters about 1,200 meters, where you can catch the panorama of mountains views from far west Annapurna-Manaslu-Ganesh Himal towards north Langtang and Jugal Himal range. With awesome views of Kathmandu valley and surrounding rolling green hills, starting after breakfast from the hotel lobby at 09 a.m. where our guide will take you on a drive on the western suburb of the valley to reach the entry and exit point of Kathmandu valley at Thankot, from here taking a southern route to reach the cable car station. A short ride which leads towards uphill on spacious cable car to reach at Chandragiri Hill offering superb views of mountains and valley within serene picturesque location enjoying the views and having lunch in of its nice resorts restaurants, after pleasant and delightful moment heading back downhill on cable car to reach our vehicle for the drive back to hotel with grand tour of the day.
