Itinerary

• 1Arrive in Kathmandu via respective airlines and transfer to hotel.On arrival at Kathmandu international airport, you will be well received by Reasonable Treks & Tour staff and guide and then transfer you to your hotels within the hub of Kathmandu city around the most happening and exciting place around Thamel. The evening after checking into your rooms with refreshment our guides will brief regarding Tour of Kathmandu Heritage Sites with welcome dinner in a nice authentic Nepalese restaurant with culture show.
• 2Kathmandu sightseeing tour at places of interest duration 4-5 hrs.The morning after breakfast leave for our exciting cultural and historical tour around Nepal’s best World Heritage Sites which includes old Durbar Square (Palace Courtyard), Old Swayambhunath Stupa and other places of interest. Morning starting our tour after breakfast with short drive and walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square (old Palace Courtyard), full of religious monuments with resident of famous Kumari Ghar (Living Goddess), visit Kal Bhairab, Red monkey god, ancient buildings of Malla rulers with magnificent architectures and intricate carvings from 7th to 16th Century. after an interesting time around old Durbar Square a short drive west of the valley to reach Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple): The great Stupa of Swayambhunath stands high on a hill of more than 26 centuries old, one of the world’s oldest Buddhist Chaitya / Stupa and also a landmark of Kathmandu and Nepal. The Great Stupa of Swayambhunath is the wonder and the glory that was Nepal. The afternoon with time for the lunch break, then a short drive towards the east of the city to reach Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath, a pagoda-style temple with gilded roofs richly carved silver doors dedicated to Lord Shiva, situated on the bank of holy Bagmati River. One of the holiest temples in the entire Hindu world, Pashupatinath Temple is the nerve center of pilgrimage on the day of Shiva-Ratri anniversary of Lord Shiva. This small religious town also houses a great temple known as Debpatan, situated 5 kilometers east of the capital city. Only Hindus are permitted to enter the main courtyard of the temple. Foreign tourists can view the temple from the eastern side of the River. From Pashupatinath Temple heading towards Bouddhanath Stupa a Little Tibet: Stands as the largest Buddhist shrine within South East Asia, this ancient colossal chhorten / Stupa built in 6th Century A.D. by King Man Deb. It rests on a series of three terraces looking from bird’s eye view it takes the form and relevant shape of a lotus flower, which indeed remains a very holy object for all the devout world-wide Buddhists.
• 3Drive to Pokhara 950m 6 hrs You can either drive to Pokhara or take a flight. You will be accompanied by the hilly landscape and winding roads should you choose to drive and you will get scenic views of the Himalayas if you take a flight. After reaching Pokhara, we explore the City of Lakes and then go back to the hotel.
• 4From Pokhara drive to Nayapul (trek point) 4 hrs trek to Tirkhedhunga 1,440m.The next morning, our journey continues from Pokhara with a drive to Nayapul and then our trek towards Tikhedhunga begins. The trek entails stone staircase along the Modi Khola. We pass through numerous waterfalls as we head towards Tikhedhunga. We pass through a few villages to finally reach Tikhedhunga. Overnight in Tikhedhunga.
• 5Trek to Ghorepani (2,850m | 9,130ft) overnight in lodge - 06 hrs.The next day, we depart from Tikhedhunga and head for Ghorepani after an early breakfast. The day is quite challenging as we need to walk straight up to the face of the mountain for about 4 hours. We ascend through villages, pastures and rhododendron forests to reach Ghorepani. We are treated with marvelous scenic views of the enthralling mountain massifs like Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m) and numerous other mountains. Overnight in Ghorepani.
• 6Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2,640m | 8,850ft) - 05 hrs.We hike to Poon hill early in the morning. The sunrise over the Himalayas is a heavenly phenomenon that amazes to such an extent that this experience will be forever etched in your memory. You get the view of mountains like Annapurna South(7219 m), Mt Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Hiunchuli (6441 m) and many more. After capturing these wonderful moments in Poon Hill, we’ll move towards Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani.
• 7Trek to Ghandruk 1,940m | 6,364ft - 04 hrs.We descend towards Ghandruk through a steep forested path full of rhododendrons. The trails continue as we go through Baise Kharka and we come across the variety of biodiversity. The trail goes through steep descent and we reach Ghandruk village. Ghandruk is one of the biggest Gurung villages in Nepal and it is widely renowned for the ‘Homestay’ approach adopted by the village as a way to improve tourism in the area. You can also feast your eyes with the panoramic ranges of mountains like Annapurna South. Overnight in Ghandruk.
• 8 Ghandruk trek to New Bridge and drive to PokharaToday, we will end our adventurous trek. After early breakfast, we will have a gentle trek towards New Bridge from where we will drive back to Pokhara. As we depart from New Bridge we can think back of our beautiful trek with the precious memories of our Poon Hill trek and its amazing scenery. After reaching back to the Lakeside city of Pokhara in the evening, you can once more explore the lakeside restaurant and souvenir shops. Stay overnight at Pokhara.
• 9Pokhara with local sightseeing and boating on Phewa Lake.Morning boating on Phewa Lake visits Bharai Temple dedicated to Hindu Goddess located in the middle of the lake on a small island, from here a boat ride to the shore for an hour hike to Buddhist Peace Stupa. from here grand views of Pokhara valley and the lake with impressive views of Annapurna Himalaya with Manaslu and Dhaulagiri with Machhapuchare Himal, and then walk downhill to the boat and paddle to the shore for lunch. afternoon tour of Devi’s waterfall with Gupteshwor Mahadev cave with lunch on route sightseeing places with a tour of International Mountain Museum recently added in Pokhara is the Mountain Museum the first of its kind in Nepal, established and built by Mountaineering Association (NMA).
• 10Morning drive to Sarankot for sunrise and paragliding.Early morning start with short drive to Sarankot a scenic hilltop famous for stunning sunrise view over array of snow-capped mountains from world’s 7th highest Mt. Dhaulagiri 8,167 m, 10th highest Mt. Annapurna 8,091 m and 8th highest Mt. Manaslu 8,163 m including range of smaller peaks with ever-present majestic Mt. Machhapuchare “Fish Tail” standing high at 6,993 meters. Sarankot hilltop the tallest spot around Pokhara valley at 1, 460 meters with super views of mountains, Pokhara green valley and its city with Phewa Lake below, beside the fabulous panorama famous for paragliding which is one of the most popular adventure sports. options of Paragliding for 30 to 45 minutes landing on the shores of Phewa Lake and then walk or drive back to your hotel rest of the afternoon free to marvel the beauty of Pokhara.
• 11Drive to Chitwan and transfer to your hotel.Today, we drive towards Chitwan that is about 150 km from Pokhara. We go down along the winding roads along the Narayani River. Upon reaching Chitwan, we walk on the bank of Rapti River and enjoy the sunset over the jungles of Chitwan. In the evening, we enjoy our dinner with the Tharu cultural program in Chitwan. Tharu is a community residing in the Terai region of Nepal and has its own unique culture and traditions.
• 12Full day Jungle Activities at Chitwan National Park.Program and activities begin early before breakfast, walk to elephant platform for the ride on elephant backs leading you into the dense jungle to witness wildlife in its natural habitat. Other activities include the visit of elephant stables and elephant bathing and briefing. After lunch drives into the jungles as well ride on a dug-out canoe floating on Rapti River where you can see freshwater Gangetic Gharial and Mugger crocodiles, if lucky including freshwater dolphins, and otters.
• 13Drive to Kathmandu and Transfer To your Hotel.After a fabulous and fantastic time in and around Nepal interesting places, our tour ends with a drive back to Kathmandu an interesting overland journey of six hours on the main highway of Nepal, on reaching at Kathmandu transfer to your hotel with a free afternoon to relax or with last hour shopping souvenirs.
• 14Drive to Nagarkot with tour of Patan and Bhaktapur -05 hrs.After enjoyable time within Kathmandu heritage sites, our next tour leads with short drive to reach the southern end of Kathmandu at Patan / Lalitpur district, once the separate Malla Kingdom where tour leads you in the heart of Patan which is known as Lalitpur, means city of arts and crafts, here marvel its craftsmanship, this city located just a mere distance towards south of Kathmandu city separated by holy Baghmati Rivers, here you can witness old Malla period fine architectures. Includes interesting Durbar Square teemed with local life visit the Krishna Temple built with stones a fine work of art with magnificent Garuda the vehicle of Lord Vishnu and Krishna, tour of its ancient courtyard, Buddhist and Hindu Temples. • 15Morning sunrise views and drive to Chandragiri within the rim of Kathmandu.Catching the morning sunrise views over snow-capped peaks then tour on Nepal’s newest Fun Park around Kathmandu valley rim with the scenic views of Chandragiri Hill at 2,551 meters about 1,200 meters, where you can catch the panorama of mountains views from far west Annapurna-Manaslu-Ganesh Himal towards north Langtang and Jugal Himal range. With awesome views of Kathmandu valley and surrounding rolling green hills, starting after breakfast from the hotel lobby at 09 a.m. where our guide will take you on a drive on the western suburb of the valley to reach the entry and exit point of Kathmandu valley at Thankot, from here taking a southern route to reach the cable car station. A short ride which leads towards uphill on spacious cable car to reach at Chandragiri Hill offering superb views of mountains and valley within serene picturesque location enjoying the views and having lunch in of its nice resorts restaurants, after pleasant and delightful moment heading back downhill on cable car to reach our vehicle for the drive back to hotel with grand tour of the day overnight in Kathmandu hotel.
• 16International Departure for Homeward bound.As per your international flight time transfer towards Tribhuvan International Airport for the journey back home or to respective destinations after a super and amazing time in Nepal Education Tour Package
